A career in Design is not restricted by subject background—creativity cuts across boundaries. Here's what every aspirant should know:

For Architecture (B.Arch): Students from the Science stream with Mathematics are eligible (as per 2018 guidelines).

For Design (B.Des): NID, NIFT, and most top design colleges welcome students from all academic streams—Science, Commerce, and Humanities.
-
Note: Some specialized programs like B.F.Tech may still require a science background.

IIT Design (B.Des): Admissions are through the UCEED entrance exam, open to all eligible streams.
