JEE Paper 2 Syllabus 2019

About JEE/AIEEE (B.Arch)
 The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) now called the JEE (Joint Engineering Entrance Exam) is  held in the month of  April for around 1000 seats approx of B.Arch/B.Planning in various institutions, namely National Institutes of Technology, IIITs, Deemed Universities, Technical Institutions, Delhi Technological University, Delhi and other Govt. funded Institutions are offered through this examination. This year many other institutions are expected to admit students through AIEEE. Decision in this regard will be taken by the Central Counselling Board which will be constituted by MHRD and a list of tentative institutions joining the CCB will be placed on the website of CCB i.e. www.ccb.nic.in.

JEE/AIEEE (B.ARCH) SYLLABUS
Part-1: Drawing Test
  • Three dimensional perception
  • Understanding and appreciation of scale and proportion of objects, building forms and elements, colour texture, harmony and contrast.
  • Design and drawing of geometrical or abstract shapes and patterns in pencil.
  • Transformation of forms both 2 D and 3 D union, substraction, rotation, development of surfaces and volumes, Generation of Plan, elevations and 3D views of objects.
  • Creating two dimensional and three dimensional compositions using given shapes and forms.
  • Sketching of scenes and activities from memory of urbanscape (public space, market, festivals, street scenes, monuments, recreational spaces etc.), landscape (river fronts, jungles. gardens, tre es, plants etc.) and rural life.

Part-2: Aptitude Test
Awareness of persons, places, Buildings, Materials.) Objects, Texture related to Architecture and build environment.
  • Visualising three dimensional objects from two dimensional drawings.
  • Visualising different sides of three dimensional objects.
  • Analytical Reasoning
  • Mental Ability (Visual, Numerical and Verbal).
Part-3: Mathematics
Eligibility criteria - 75% aggregate in final examination of 10 + 2. Students having studied Maths in Class XII irrespective of stream like Science, Commerce, Humanities etc. are eligible for JEE 2017.
FROM 2018 ONLY STUDENTS OF SCIENCE WITH MATHEMATICS WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR NATA & JEE B.ARCH
The total number of seats is approx. 1000.Admission is on the basis of JEE merit.
